Anyone else having issues with DSTV?

DSTV has stopped working for me in the last 5 min and gives me an E17 error code. I have tried calling the call centre on 011 289 2222 but their auto-attendant is obviously full and they have no overflow to a reception so the number is permanently engaged.

Anyone else having problems? I am in JHB.
 
i also have the problem. happened about 5 to 7. on all channel scrambled. neighbour's pvr works. strange.
 
Which error you got? E17 could be " Service is currently scrambled" or "Smartcard marriage conflict. Please contact the Call Centre for assistance!"

Ours is working - for now anyway but last time I had that error the account had been cut off bevause the debit order wasn't reflecting. Have you tried reseting via their website

Nope, but all the latest updates. I wont trial the software until I am sure there are minimal bugs.

Well the call centre issue makes me believe they dont have enough lines allocated to the up-front auto-attendant, therefore the volume must be very high. Makes me believe there is a major issue for many customers at the mo.

I have tried rebooting, not from the website though, didnt know it was possible. Tried re-booting and re-inserting the smart card.

Still got issues.

The only thing that works is the audio on the travel channel. The picture on this channel remains E17 error. And all other channels are scrambled.
 
my audio worked on mnet before i changed channels. im trying to re-marry my sc and decoder.

PS: L17 is the best thing ever and im not have a day's problems with it :D

You have to apply for the trial via their website.
 
Is this isolated to Johannesburg only? Or specific areas in Johannesburg? I am on the East Rand. SShhhhh, dont tell anyone :)
