Anyone else having issues with DSTV?

Ah, its sorted out now. Wonder what the problem was - still cant get through to the call centre.

Wonder of they were loadshedded and the PABX switched off

Sounds like a loadshed. They are shifting areas. Maybe this is their way of saving 10%.

Sorted for me in JHB now.

DSTV is overrated. Had it for 3 years, and got rid of it....
Youtube is much better :D

I agree, on demand is the way forward. Works out waaayyy more expensive for me on 3G though. My latest bill was R1500-00 and this month might be double that!
 
Free DSTV?

I've only got the Easyview package.
Last night after Jericho, I noticed that I have access to all the DSTV channels.

I have not checked this morning to see if it is still on,
but hopefully after work I can watch some National Geographic.

If it is still not scrambled, should I take the moral high road and phone them about this?
Is there any way of them knowing what I watch?
I don't want to get a R400 or whatever bill at the end of the month.

no, they cant see what you are watching. they will prolly fix the problem during the day. if not, then lucky you!
 
I'm on the other side of the coin with this one, it seems.

I only subcribed to the DStv Compact package, but every single channel was unscrambled last night. :D
 
This happens every now and then, I am on the DSTV compact and at weekends I sometimes get the full DSTV package with MNet. I'm not complaining.Maybe one night of the week it also happens but not often.
