I was wondering if anybody has had any dealings with a company/service called nTouch.
They offer a web-based SMS service across all the networks and specialise in bulk SMS bundles.

I came across them because it's one of the current Wicount specials and I am considering trying them out. What appeals most is the fact that the SMS credits you buy from them never expire, unlike a typical SMS bundle that is valid for 30 days.

However, their site doesn't give much information. A quick whois revealed that the nTouch site was registered by a company called MCI Consultants but more than that I can't find out. There is no information on the MCI site about nTouch.

The sort of questions I'm asking myself before trying them out are along the lines of:
  • Can sending an SMS through nTouch be done via the browser on my BB?
  • If they have an app available for BB to use (MCI is a BB certified software developer that creates custom mobile solutions)?
  • You have to load your contacts into their system to send messages to those numbers - is that information secure?
  • Will the recipient of the SMS be able to see my name or number to know who the SMS is from?
  • Do the SMS's contain any advertising or other 3rd party/nTouch content?
  • Are the SMSs the full 140 characters?
If anybody knows anything about these guys or has any experience with them, I'd love to hear from you.
Even if you just check out the links I've provided and have an opinion on whether they look worth using/trying, I'd like to hear it.

Thanks in advance!

121 views and not a single response makes me a sad Panda :erm:
I can only conclude that nobody has any experience or opinions. (The experience I can believe, but MyBB'ers not having any opinions? Impossible!)
Thus, I have decided to give them a try and will report back.

For Science.
