Anyone filled in a Telkom application at rAge?

Hi All

Just checking to see whether anyone else filled in an application at the Telkom stand during rAge this year?

I fell for the sales talk in that they have now appointed someone you can contact directly, so signed up for a 2 year 20Mbps VDSL line contract.

It's been a few weeks now and none of the promises they made has come to light yet. In addition, there is no response on the email address they provided and the cellphone number goes directly to voicemail.

Anyone else with better luck and/or other contact details?

I also completed an application at rAge. Still no response yet, but seems a new order had been placed on my Telkom account for DSL (I didn't initiate this). Was also sent an sms with account login details. This was in the last week of March but the order was cancelled a few days later. Seems they figured that any copper in my area is pointless even though I'm within coverage for VDSL.

I didn't take their details at rAge, but sad to hear that they didn't reply to calls or email. They promised me an equivalent service (LTE?) if copper was not viable.
