Anyone having issues with IS international browsing?

Same my eve-online(server in uk) pings for the last 2 months have been consistently 1200ms :(
Only time that it really letted up was on easter weekend since so many ppl were on vacation.

if only neotel was widely available.... i suggest we build a citizens fibre cable to the UK, we all club in a few R... nevermind
 
I have constant issues with IS. I have decided to vote with my wallet and leave IS, even if it means having to deal with the just-as-useless telkom.

Um no. I have been an IS ADSL customer for a number of years and there service level has progressively gotten worse and worse. Its at the stage now where most international sites go at dialup speed.

I will restate what I have said many times before: IS are worse than telkom, it is just that they have limited ability to inflict maximum pain on their customers compared to telkom.
 
I cannot believe a company like Openweb sells a crappy service like this. They pride themselves on good service why put up with this ? Alternative ? None at this stage. Or must i fork out R5000 for their 100 gig unshaped service which will probaly just as crappy ? (Service from IS)

Torrents are extremely slow ad the news server is also a nightmare!!
