It seems to be a secret pact of Apple owners to only let out the positives and goes against everything if someone dares bring up a negative. I have and I'm ousted from your Apple club :'(

By the way, Apple is obviously doing something wrong if 2 million guys JB their devices within a week of them launching. It won't happen - but I can hope for the day Apple says : guys, we'll let you think a little ... what do you want in your device?

I think the issue here is that even for a casual observer like myself you are starting to sound like the boring old fart in the room that everyone wants to avoid.Perhaps it is time to accept the iPad for what is (yes it isn't faultless :eek: ) or sell it and buy an Android tablet.

Within the 1st week of the device, not many after the 1st year I would almost say 30% + but for totally different reasons than what people Jailbreak for.

Hint: Lack of OEM upgrades ;)

I am surprised the number isn't higher than 0.8%, as their experience they decided upon will surely not make everyone happy.
But I'm assuming that those are people that want Apple's hardware and software, but not the whole experience. Thus they jailbreak
 
Threads is - once again - getting out of hand.

The bottom line is the iPad is not the 10/10 device you guys make out, many reviews don't list any negatives when there are - and the device is a basic tablet that works well, but doesn't blow away everything on the planet. There is nothing wrong with it, but it's got limitations which are extremely irritating and software bugs like all other devices.

Yep, it does have limitations and it does have bugs. But many of those limitations are there for a reason. (The bugs can and will get fixed)
And for many, it is by far the best product of it's kind on the market.

But luckily, there are other products people can enjoy if they don't like the iPad

Or - shocker - not many people really care, like most people don't really care about the 20/50mb iTS download limit over 3g because for them it's a non issue.

BTW, I feel like this is coming across as targeting you, but it isn't meant as that. It's just a discussion. And you are representing the people that come into Apple threads to moan about Apple and insult people that use their products :)

I'd like to think that I'm a little more accurate on what I say ... I think the average person comes and says people buy it because it's 'cool', but I can at least give you specific details and limitations. Sadly though, that's what aggravates the majority of you ... and I do know that when I stumble in this section, I'm going to be flamed for not saying it's perfect ;)

Hey!

I didn't come to complain intially!

I came on and my first post was positive Apple, going against the OP! But then I noticed someone from the Church of Apple and simply pointed out it wasn't really as godly and heavenly as people think ... then BAM! I suddenly had about 4 or 5 iFolk snapping at my ankles

To be fair, you will get the same reaction in the Android, Windows Phone, Linux, Microsoft, XBOX, Playstation....... sections as well.

If you post in that section expect people from that section to defend their choices.

Example, watch me stir up some for the Nokia fans on a sec....

Yea .... I've got a few infractions in those sections as well.

Nothing blows anything away.

I think they're a fair amount closer than what this sub section believes. Had the iPad not been as cheap as it was, I'd have got a Samsung Galaxy 10.1
