Apple iPad 4 with better LTE support

The new iPad CPU will only be beneficial when watching 720p/1080p MKV video.
As is, the iPad 3 sometimes struggles with 720p h.264 video in software mode.

You do know the 3rd generation iPad had LTE, right? The only difference was that it had multiple models with multiple LTE bands - the new one supports more bands (and hopefully SA - I didn't check?)

Needs 1800MHz for Vodacom LTE (for starters).
 
Screw you apple...so a whole bunch of people buy the new iPad, and without warning you fukc us good and proper.

When the new Win8 and Android tablets come out with LTE the current iPad will look a bit "ancient" because of it and reviewers might suddenly say that some other tablet is the new king. So to stop that you release the same tablet with LTE and more processing power (through in that propriety connector for extra lulz).


EDIT: honestly, I wish they had rather release a "New iPad+". Same spec as the current one but 5mm thicker with closer to 20 hours battery life.

From 8ta's site : "4G is mainly a marketing buzzword at the moment. Some basic 4G research is being done, but no frequencies have been allocated. The fourth generation could be ready for implementation around 2012" <--- LoL

Because other handset/tablet manufacturers don't update the specs on their devices? :confused: Apple needed to update the iPad to bring it in line with the new mini, iPhone, and iPods which have all moved to the lightning connector so why not update the cpu at the same time?

Hows that? Are you worried about losing resale value, is your iPad suddenly worse than it was before, are they forcing you to buy the new S iPad (or whatever they want us to call it).. I don't see how this affects 3rd gen owners at all.
 
The one thing I find curious is why are Apple still selling the iPad2 and not selling the third gen as the low end model instead? Is it the cost of the retina display?

How about the poor person who went out last week all excited and bought an ipad for his father who was so proud his son bought him one, only to find out exactly a week later that it's outdated... Just because Apple think their sudden announcements without warning are "cool".

Why did I, and my dad included deserved to get screwed by Apple. Its absolute bull****e.

Last bloody time I buy a piece of **** apple product. Looking forward to MS Surface.

It is the nature of the beast that is technology. Been like this for years - learn to accept it and be happy with your purchases.

Logic? You raised one scenario...

I've never had anything against Apple products. Enjoy my Ipad and my Android phone but the issue is how they go about business.

With every other company, rumours are released, launches are discussed etc, Apple just randomly releases a brand new product out of the blue. I'm sure you would have been ecstatic if you just dropped R7k. Wouldn't have been a role reversal for us? No, I wouldnt sit there on my imaginary high horse sn-iggering.

If Apple were at all ethical we would have had at least some whiff that there was a possibility of a new launch. At least then a bunch of us could have said "you know what, I'll wait and see what launches in a week" and if the it was only an ipad mini, cool, I could have made an informed decision. Instead they spring this on you out of the blue and with no warning.

You may think what you want but I am entitled to be grumpy so don't start insulting me by saying I lack logic and implying I don't have the basic ability of comprehension. You just come off as arrogant.
