Well Android has a free client, but I am complaining about my Desktop OS.

Funny thing is at about the same time Google Drive was launched I got a mail from Dropbox gift'ing extra space for referals(Out came 10 minute mail and now I am on 16 Gig free space), and Skydrive had that whole 25 gig free offer.

I am now on:
16 Gig Dropbox,
25 Gig for Skydrive,
50 gig from Box.net (Thanx to Xperia 50 Gig free offer)
10 Gig from Ubuntu One....

So I don't know why I am upset about the lack of Gdrive for my desktop OS... I just am :)

Is there no web method?

This thread was about tablets so I thought it was poignant.
 
What cloud storage providers need to develop are some APIs, surely the money is in the users rather than the clients?

No need for API's there is a standard already that covers this sort of thing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebDAV

Funny enough, Skydrive use this(See Office) and use to mount like a dream in Linux, but they found a way to block Linux last month using the Live logon. :(

Strange still, Android is the prized project (and by many accounts enjoys the greater footprint), yet they choose to relegate it to second place when launching a new product ?

Clearly Google is playing an interesting game, I.e. their mobile ad income is derived from both platforms, hence they do in a way have a stake in the success of both.

Yet if they are truly hedging the bets, surely one would expect them to be betting on both also with new products?

They also IMO have more than enough capacity to deal with joint launches I.e. have developers work on solutions for both platforms simultaneously?

Anyway G+ or any other Google product aside from Gmail & search hold no interest for me; especially now that many services cannot be used anonymously, for example: currents requires me to login?

Why should I be required to share my reading history with Google, just to use their rendition of a news consolidation app? neither Flipboard, Zite, Pulse, ... required this from me?

Do yourself a favour and order just ONE cable. When you see the quality you will also stick to them.
By quality I don't mean gold. Makeup of connection, cable "feel" etc.. They are very good.

Exactly, Its enough to buy all the devices and what not, next thing I have to cut in to my E-Cig money for cables :)
