You are testing the wrong thing and not being objective at all.

You’ve taken a pre-determined and known point of failure and decided to run with it as a good reason for comparison…but it’s not.

The real question as a security analyst you would be asking isn’t whether two twins can unlock the same phone, but rather if you can fine or create a twin of any one person and then unlock their phone.

The answer is no.

On the contrary when you ask the same question of fingerprint biometrics the answer is that it becomes a lot easier to clone the fingerprint of any one person and therefore it’s less secure as a technology.

You are using a known outlier to prove a falsehood while not addressing the entire picture.

It’s an objectively verifiable fact that FaceID is better than TouchID when applied to large demographics of people, and that’s what matters in security.

Jesus fella, it's a phone I happen to use and it suits me. Nothing more or less. The difference is I don't have the arrogance to tell everyone else their user experience is wrong because it differs from mine.

My 15 Pro trolled me hard this morning when I used the usual face unlock method.

It said "non-human / pet face detected".

So if two different people can get into one phone and access the data, still perfect really?

And here I thought it meant it was not secure …

And that’s also why WiFi is safer than Ethernet? Although it doesn’t seem it at first, people just ‘don’t know’ …
