Yeah, it's almost like a script:

Criticize Apple → "But Android is worse!"
Mention missing features → "Well, Android had that first, but Apple does it better!"
Talk about repairability → "But iPhones last longer, so you don’t need repairs!"
Complain about price → "You’re paying for the experience and ecosystem!"
Bring up Apple’s anti-consumer moves → "At least it’s not as fragmented as Android!"

Your obsession with updates indicates your lack of knowledge on how Android works.
We don't need major os updates for security and app functionality. You'd know that if you actually bothered to read things.
But you're so obsessed with updates, because Apple requires it for core app and security updates, Android hasn't needed that for almost 9 years now. As apps get updated via the Google services and often why some even older Androids can still be used today as they don't become paper weights when the OS stops updating.
