Apple iPhone 16e (formerly iPhone SE 2025)

Eish, still doubting me lol?

There is a difference between wireless charging & MagSafe, they are not same, similar not the same.

Check what I linked & posted.
Yeah i edited my post after checking

Damn that price, seems I’ll be using my 2022 SE for a few more years. 😖
Seeing it supports apple Intelligence it must have 8 or 12GB of ram?

I guess now that it has an OLED display, FaceID, better battery life, etc. pricing it too low would mean it starts eating into the main iPhone lineup sales/profits and that was too much of a risk?

Maybe we get a $100 price drop early next year?

I have a magsafe charger that I only ever used once, R800 down the drain, as long as wireless charging is still available and can charge on the car chargepad while using wireless Apple car play, I am happy.

Apple buying Intel's modem division will turn out to be another epic purchase just like Beats back in the day. It was the only useful Intel division.

I forgot about that! C1 is going to be very very interesting.

It doesn’t support MagSafe!

What the actual ****?

The one feature that actually set my iPhone 16 apart from the 11 that replaced it and changed my life in a meaningful way.

MagSafe isn’t just the charger.

I have MagSafe holders in the car, a MagSafe stand and MagSafe wallet.

It’s not the end of the world not being fitted though, I added a MagSafe ring to my Samsung S22, they are reasonably cheap and work quite well.

Guess this means the base iPhone is going to get a $100 price bump

My angled bedside charger with MagSafe enabling the alarm clock has been such a nice addition for me. I switch it so it's not always on, then if I want to know the time I just tap the bedside table and it comes on and shows the time. Simple but really handy and effective.

I totally understand that, But for me magsafe has been a useless feature, though I understand it is useful to others.

My wife goes through battery quickly with her work so she carries a small MagSafe battery pack that just clips on the back for extra juice. Super handy for heavy users on the move.

Many people on "X" are pissed about that 1 thing, the rest of the stuff/downgrades are pretty much expected.

Wireless charging is more meaningful to me. I just charge my phone overnight.
