Which would be all good except Apple is not a premium brand. Not to the people outside Apple's walled garden of delights in any way.

Really? You should look around St Tropez and see if you see any other tech brand around
 
Look how Samsung is pulling away from Apple. In 2011 they were about even stevens ... in 2012 Samsung shot upwards like a rocket.

Yeah, Samsung is overshadowing almost the entire market. It amazing.
Samsung is killing off Dell, HP, Sony, HTC, Nokia, RIM, ASUS, Panasonic etc. Samsung these days *is* Android.
If they keep this up, in 5 years Apple, Amazon and MS will be the only people left competing against them. Maybe Sony, but I doubt it.
It is truly impressive

Huh? The title has iPhone is it. It is not an Android thread. Unless you being pedantic about it being a thread, not a forum, in which case you are trying to distort cerebus's point

Yep, always has been, always will. That is why they have such a large following for so 20 years.
They make opinionated software and hardware. And thank goodness for that, otherwise we would be stuck with one less design philosophy

Whatever meat get's thrown onto the main news forum is there for the taking. You are most welcome to have a go at Android fans when there is an Android thread. We can handle the heat.

Android threads are almost universally civilized by comparison. Guess there's just not the same kind of passion around Android.
