Apple unveils iPhone 16e

Much better than Android phone cocking out and having to root your phone and pay for an app to see that. Or battery capacity declining fast within a year and being left in the dark as in my case.
Why do you need to see it? It's not real, it's an estimate and just another way they can screw you

Because Samsung would never do anything like that...

Which device is this? As don't know of any Samsung that has a 3000mah battery anymore?
Plus even than it just shows bad, it's not some arbitary % they can nail you on when you trade it in. I mean it doesn't mean anything really, but it's a clever tactic they put in.

Ask Google and Samsung that's adding it in now.
Keeps being mentioned, but doesn't really look like it's being implemented.
Cause once again what is the real point of it?

The Battery Capacity section reflects the health of your Pixel's battery.
With it you will be able to see an overall battery health percentage, a manufacture date, the date your phone was first used and a battery cycle count.

That’s not really true though?

2 years with my Android is pretty much the same capacity as 2 years with my iPhone. That’s even with the 40w charging of the Android.

I heard the iPhone may get 35w though with iPhone 17. That’s not too bad though as that’s 85% of the way in 8 years

I think the battery information is limited to some iPhones with the battery information hardware chip.
Works fine for me using a Siri shortcut.

Not on budget Android phones.

We're talking about battery health every iPhone shows that. Stop moving the goalposts.
How do I find it l

To check your iPhone 15's battery health, you can go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health. This feature is available for iPhone 15 models and later with iOS 17.4 and later. Also don’t seem to have the battery limit either

You said there was customised bespoke hardware to enable that?

You said budget and now you’re changing again

Your iPhone must be more than obsolete because I can’t understand the half sentences.

I copied and pasted it.

It’s basically saying that the exact same iOS version is different for iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 with regards to the battery. And the ‘Standby’ feature is also different and makes no sense on many devices running the same iOS version

Which is really what I’ve been saying all along

Only you and everyone on MacRumors cares.

Facts... I dont know an android user who has had the same phone for more than a year.

Wow guy you dont know too many people or get out much into the real world do you? I used my Poco F1 for longer than 6 years before my battery gave up the ghost - and the guy who bought my Redmi Note 4 (which i used for around 3 years before replacing it with that Poco F1) used it till last year when it fell down and the screen cracked so he was unable to use it (nothing about a dying battery)
