My Redmi Note 2 I could only use for a year and a half.

I appreciate you sharing your experience but i find it hard to believe.

S9 - it's on its second or third battery. Does it matter?

Of course - because "Bad" is just so darn quantifiable.

Moot point really - I can't imagine anyone being in much of a bargaining position when it comes to trading in a Samsung.

I came across this quote the other day

It really made me think of some guys that believe so strongly that something is the best or right, they see it.

Samsung Members app - the same one that comes pre-installed on all Samsung phones.

You should check your battery health now you know how to.

No members app installed on mine by default. I do find it in the play store though, so it's not a default for Samsung then. It's a separate app not part of Android

I have nearly a dozen Samsungs in front of me and it was preinstalled on all of them.
 
Though just for the Apple fans, S23 Ultra almost 2 years old, battery is still good apparently. That's with normal usage. Though I'll probably never check it again, cause eh

Why would you have a dozen of them? I've got 4 and none have it installed. I've installed it now just to see. But once again Samsung didn't bake it into the actual battery settings you need an external app to check it. Which means no one really cares

Samsung gives you most of the same information in the system settings. Anyway, this is like playing chess with a pigeon.
