Yeah - I guess you're right. Let me revise my initial list :
[-]improved processor - N70 had that.[/-]
camera and video capabilities - N70 had that.
allow users to run multiple applications simultaneously - N70 had that.

This truly is a miracle. Nikon and Canon had better watch out - who knows what the next iPhone OS will bring to the table in terms of camera performance. For all we know it might even change the newly upgraded AF lens into a wide angle one with V4. Oooh, and add 6x zoom in V5 :D

We have no formal answer on this yet and like everyone else rely on what god himself will announce at the next holy gathering.

Which is kinda right now, I believe? Like in today.

Pilgrims have already completed the purification process to prepare themselves to be in the presence of their god where he will bestow greatness on all attending by announcing the third coming (we hope).

When the iPhone 2 launched last year, Apple kept it out of markets like SA for a few months. Not sure what they'll do this time around with the iPhone 3. I would think they now have their distribution, etc. sorted so it should be much quicker.

Better post-processing is not a miracle, actually. Just better programming. :rolleyes:

Nikon and Canon do it all the time.
 
I'm torn between the magic and the iphone, really want an android phone but am not willing to give my iphone and all the apps I paid for.. would like to have both but can't afford to.

We shall all promptly gather around this post tomorrow, while singing cumbaja and saying goodbye to number one and two as the word of three's imminent arrival is bestowed upon us.

I'm sure some Apple fan will give us minute-by-minute updates on what is being said at the conference. ;)

I'm just keen to see OS3 formally released so I can update my iPhone.

Same here - it will be nice to have what will essentially be a new phone . . . gratis.

You 18 month old nokia has a "find me feature" even if its on silent, and the ability to wipe all data if it gets "lost or stolen"?!?!?!?! :eek:
 
I want an iPhone3GS...... Wonder how much they will be when they eventually get here in 2 years.

They'll be launched on the 9th of July according to Apple...

Which does bring me to an interesting question... V3G : Have apple forced your hand on this, or have you guys been able to keep this silent and are going to launch on the 9th?

Absholootly, I shwear itsh troo.:p
It will also tell me the number if the thief puts in their SIM card. The software remains even if firmware is updated and you use the restore factory settings. That's all I've tested so far.

All I can say is that Apple is VERY good at controlling their own devices.
