Hi 8ta what happens if you are lliving in apartment block where many people might have applied?

Obviulsy its many households plus different floors etc

If this is the case, then the other criteria will apply. We can only allow a few people per tower.

Again, I ask, I applied because when I look on the normal map where my place is, I am inside the coverage area. However, when I type my address and search for it, it incorrectly shows another place, which is outside.

Will this affect my chances?

Don't think it will affect your chances. I think 8ta would use their own GIS databases in making decisions :D
If it does affect your chances, it would be minimal. As an individual you and I only have a 1 in 35 chance of being selected anyways (2.8% chance :D)
 
It will increase my chances if they say "8ta subscribers only or 8ta subscribers will get preference".
 
Someone asked this before but I didn't see an answer;

What if my 8ta SIM lives in a modem? how are the notifications going out?

Also, will you guys try and get atleast one trial participant per LTE tower?
 
The successful applicants will be contacted by 1 November 2012 to arrange the completion of the necessary documentation and to arrange installation.

After successful applicants have been identified – and they have accepted to form part of the trial – 8ta will begin the installation of the LTE customer premise equipment (CPE). This is expected to start on 4 November.

I think it is quite funny how everyone suddenly wants to be an 8ta subscriber and just want to know whether they will qualify and when 8ta will be contacting the people who applied. Even keeping their sim cards in their modems, when obviously they should put it in their phones if they expect 8ta to contact them via phone.:p

Just a few months ago some of these people could not have cared about 8ta and it's offerings. Just so funny. LOL. :p

Fail post. Being a current 8ta subscriber is NOT a prerequisite for the trial. And they obviously contact yu on the number you supplied.

I was pointing out to Ryansr that he was missing the many instances in the thread, where it was mentioned that subscribers as well as non subscribers are elegible.

I am myself a subscriber.
