Aramex global shopper

I try and avoid using AGS with Amazon as many bad experiences. Try and find same product on amazon that ships to SA, surprisingly a lot of products ship to SA and it's cheaper than aramex (and amazon uses aramex!!!)

I’ve never had a bad experience with AGS via amazon. I use AGS because most clothes don’t ship to SA.

No just contact them and send them the invoice
Then they can confirm amounts

First thing they did when I contacted them initially is that they asked that I send them the invoice
And my ID details

Japan address being dodgey af again.
Another parcel showing up as delivered by local supplier yet a week later AGS Tokyo fails to acknowledge receipt. Does anyone know who to contact in Japan as I see there isn't an Aramex branch in Tokyo anymore?

25 Jan 2018 07:04 AM Johannesburg, South Africa Out for Delivery

Got this one for the package delivered yesterday

Spoke to them about my other package
25 Jan 2018 08:41 PM JOHANNESBURG, South Africa Departed Operations facility – In Transit

From this point they claim it will not be delivered today
They say it still needs to be checked in at their last location and will only then be delivered the day after that.

I guess I should not complain it will mean that it is only 2 working days after the latest delivery date quoted.

Been having a lot of issues with Amazon/Aramex shipping over the last 2 months. Parcels get to SA really quickly and then gets delayed at customs for sometimes weeks on end. Currently have 2 parcels that have been delayed at customs clearing since early January.

Going to try a shipping service instead to see how it compares. PostBox-Courier.com seems to have good reviews, but will probably be more expensive?

That may or may not make a difference. Only so much can be done if customs are delaying the parcels.

Does aramex ask you for all the relevant info and duty/vat payment before the item arrives in the country?

customs wont be delaying parcels from amazon, this is just rubbish they tell you, its just aramex ****ing up the clearing process as usual.

Yes, because if your Amazon parcel shipped with Aramex you chose the slower delivery option - either choose the fastest which is either UPS or DHL or use PBC - with PBC you will get your parcel within 2 - 4 days.
