Aramex global shopper

Postbox courier actually managed to lose one of my parcels. It also took considerably longer than 2-4 days for delivery.
I tried them twice now, was not impressed either time, and have decided to avoid them in future.

Thank you for confirming, that's what I suspected. I am going to try PBC and will report back.

Yeah, just know it will cost you more than Aramex.......make sure its on an item that is worth the extra expense. If you not sure just email them in advance, they will give you an estimate - but you wont wait 2 - 3 weeks with them, its a matter of days, but there is a pbc thread if you need help just chat there......
 
Well my latest is up for delivery today
So only 2 working days after the latest delivery date through Aramex

Service from AGS has gone down since I started using it more and more. And the price has gone up too.

I'll look into PostBox-Courier.com as well. Is there a specific MyBB thread on it? My Google fu is not strong today.

I wish my parcels were out for delivery. I have six parcels saying "Departed operations facility - in transit".
The most irritating bit is that one parcel is the latest Amazon Echo I managed to get on ebay for a song.
 
Customs are opening all the parcels. I noticed my parcels boxes were opened and aramex just used tape to seal again.

This was not the case last year before Christmas.

Aramex USA don't used blue tape. Reason I state this is my work file has over a years worth of Aramex tape on it, keeping it together (file was bought in the 80's).
Aramex UK do use white tape with blue icons on it, but tape clearly states Shop and Ship.

Yes, I think that was SARS tape.

SARS is Blue SARS written on white tape, again, you can't really miss it or confuse it with a blue tape.
I'm guessing someone "examined" his parcel for goodies and sealed it with whatever tape they had - nice of them to seal it, I have had parcels arrive with huge holes in them....
 
Doubt they care what tape they use. I know some of my parcels are inspected but I've never seen sars written on any tape for as long as I've had parcels imported.
 
But I agree Aramex parcels are definitely having issues with stolen mobile phones. I've purchased one of those cheap smartwatches where you can put a sim card and the shipping description was 'mobile phone.' Didn't receive that one and got a paypal refund after requesting from gearbest.

Then the parcel wasn't opened by SARS - when SARS send out cargo examiners to physically inspect and open a parcel, they have to follow strict procedure. Its a team of at least two people, a single individual is not allowed to open a box and it has to be then resealed with their own SARS tape.
