Aramex global shopper

Anyone have any luck ordering from xiaomi.com/index.html ?

It requires a 11 digit phone number but the toll free AGS one is only 10. Prefixing with a 1 allows you to save, but then I get this awesome error.

How important is the phone number? Might try pop in a random one and see how that goes...

Hang on, if it's like Taobao, they need your phone number, which they send a code to which you enter to continue. Don't use Aramex's phone number.

Oh waitaminnit, ignore me. If this is the shipping address details, then you have to enter Aramex's number.

If Shanghai origin, did you try 86-4006318388?
I'm looking on an old invoice from Taobao and that's how they have the phone number written.

Unfortunately their validation will only allow a 11 digit number with no spaces or special characters.

I was successful with address details ordering from Wish.com, I used south korea

Interested to see when the stuff will arrive. 3-4+ Months via SAPO usually

Ok so seller as requested that I like the Aramex Hong Kong address in Chinese. Anyone have this on hand?

Whenever you pay a supplier for an item, make a screen grab of your payment proof. (Bank screen grab and the email or SMS screen grab). This will prove to be invaluable if you ever have a dispute, or customs asks for proof.

In my case my parcel was tampered with and resealed . I could instantly add proof of payment details to the photos of the parcel, helping my claim along nicely.

Damn another new record.
Book arrived at AGS London on the 3rd November.
Out for delivery today 7th.

I also had a nice surprise. Package was received at the new York Origin on Friday Morning (2/11/2018) and is out for delivery today (7/11/2018). Five days including a weekend is pretty respectable in my books. And I'm not even on Flex.

Just got my item sent with Aliexpress to Spain AGS location.

Very quick delivery actually strangely enough it was outsourced to UPS in a UPS Express envelope.

When you order from Aliexpress do you ask the user for their location and then you choose the closest AGS. Can you please explain. I have ordered using normal post and still waiting since september for my parcels. Eish

When you say normal post you mean not via AGS?

If so then 3 months is normal. One can end up waiting longer or shorter then 3 months though.

Thats right yes. None Courier option. So SAPO way. Package was received on 23 Sept at Destination Country but stuck at mail centre seems like it. I phoned the call center and they have a huge backlog.

@DeeinSouthAfrica Made my first purchase with Taobao. I'm 100% certain I got the address correct. It's my default address (the aramex hong kong location) but for some reason, maybe the translator is the issue but it says it's going to a completely different location. Literally every single thing of it is wrong not sure if it's the source or destination but it says.

Delivery address: No.42, E District, Yongfeng Wholesale City, No.13, Shijie Road, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China 510663 Tian Chongyu

Which is clearly not anything close to the Aramex address

and then below it there's

Receiving address: which just has 0000 followed by name and a random cell number which is not any number I entered on this site. Not the aramex or my own.

[Edit]

Managed to get to the actual delivery information. From what I can decipher it looks like it goes to one location first and then from there it's forwarded to the Aramex address which they got right perfectly as i put it in the default address settings of my account. These guys have some weird ass processes.

Now that I broke it up into pieces I see it now. Makes sense. Just kept the original message in tact in case anyone else had this issue.

Basically the "one location" is the courier company depot LOL! Not some wrong address. So basically like TCG or Fastway it goes to the depot first and then heads along the road to destination which you have to go digging for but is there somewhere in trenches of the information on the website.

@DeeinSouthAfrica Wanted to thank you again for sharing the information about Taobao. This place to me is a goldmine for finding things that aren't sold anywhere else.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, however: could someone recap how AGS works with multiple small items from eg. eBay? Do they combine?

And is the current suggested AGS location to ship to (for China sellers), still New York?

Thank you
