Aramex global shopper

Always ask the company if you can do 2 payments. One must be the amount of the decleared value. The other the balance. When SARS / Aramex asks for proof of payment you can show the decleared amount on your bank statment.
Be very careful doing this as it would be considered as defrauding SARS. Big companies get away with it, but the little guy usually gets caught.
I always send a message to supplier saying NO INVOICE IN PARCEL. That way, when Aramex charge me customs duty of R1261.40 (for ¥474) and R937.65 (for ¥370) I can fight the amounts.
¥474 = R975
¥370 =R761

Phone Aramex. I bet this is not the first time this has happened, after all, South Africa is only one of the multitude of countries that use Amazon India via Aramex Shop & Ship Mumbai.
Spoke to Olivia. Said I must wait and see. If its not added to my account I must send them the tracking number and invoice. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence but I'll go with it.

@shiverz That's weird, I spoke to an Olivia Kourtney too recently with an issue I had.

Not condoning shady dealings but when I spoke with customer service I was told that Aramex never deals with seller side invoices. They only exclusively deal with buyer client side invoices so based on that information I'm quite sure the two transactions wouldn't even be considered on their part.

On another note though I dont know if there's a promotion on right now but I just got a $10 off on my shipping fees might be because I was using the app though.

Just to update. The tempered glass was delivered today to Aramex no OTP was required. It's reflecting on the app. Shipping is R189 I'm still pissed about that as it's split from the case and phone itself. My mate has given me his voucher to use so I ended up paying 7 dollars. That's like R90 I think. Phone and case scheduled for Friday... Let's see what happens.

My package is sitting in NY for the 3rd day now. Should I phone them to see what's going on?

My latest package didn't go via Dubai like other packages. Came straight to JHB.

Why does AGS not have consolidation as an option? I had 2 packages arrived but now I gotta pay shipping on each one separately.

They do with flex. If you import a lot of parcels, join flex and order them all at the same time, from same Origin. I have 10 parcels coming in from China, each from a different supplier that arrived at Shanghai almost together. Shanghai consolidated them into one shipment, which means that on some parcels I'm only paying R40 shipping.

I spoke to Vusi and he said that there's no consolidation with Flex.

If parcels arrive at the AGS address at different times, then they get shipped out individually.

Like with mine, parcels arrived a day apart from each other but each one was shipped out individually.

What if items are arriving at all varied times and you want to delay shipping until all arrive, is that possible with Flex?

So I have registered and received the address. When I put it into amazon. It says address not valid. Any ideas ? New York address. Says not valid street address

This may be a stupid question, but how does the AGS depot in the sellers country know its your package? It gets shipped there and they just go by your name?
Thanks
