Aramex global shopper

The Shop & Ship app is still up and running, and I see my bank cards saved.

Mine arrived at trh NY address on the Monday but only appeared in the Aramex system on the Tuesday. (after I emailed to ask)

You get some sort of idea just how busy NY is when two parcels get delivered with the same postman on a Saturday morning and the tracking numbers are over 300 parcels apart.
We in South Africa are a very tiny dot when it comes to the millions of people worldwide who use Aramex Shop & Ship (only SA, Namibia and Botswana use the renamed Aramex Global Shopper).
This is why we get so frustrated when webpages and apps get screwed up, (and the personnel screw it up). They are a multi-national company. These sort of things should not happen.

Luckily with Amazon's tracking I knew it was delivered at the right place.

But you are right, one would hope that things would just work.

Not on Aramex Global Shopper. Even on Flex I have a hard time getting combined shipping. The parcels have to arrive at Shanghai on the same day - it takes some very fine logistical juggling. Luckily Aramex has an office next to Shanghai Hongqiao, a slower airport in Shanghai. If sending to HK or JFK with a zillion flights a minute you can totally forget combining as your parcel will be off with the next batch and on that plane lickety-split.

Thanks Pity I cant use Shanghai AGS shipping address since doesnt work on Aliexpress.

You wait 2 days as most Origin addresses are busy. Then you receive an email from Aramex informing you that your parcel has arrived and that you must upload invoice. Over the next few days you receive the same activity update email as your parcel moves from country to country. Then you get a pay now email. This is for shipping.
You can track your shipment through the Shop & Ship app.

My package showed up eventually on the website. So if something comes on a Saturday you will only see it by COB (NY time) on Tuesday
 
My package showed up on the AGS website 2 days ago and I uploaded the commercial invoice. Since then there has been no communication with me or request to make any payments. Just wondering if that is normal.

Yeah, sometimes you gotta call them to see some activity. They seem to be very slack lately.

Just 10 min after posting I got a call from Aramex applogosing for the delay and that the person working on the package forgot to close the manifest and this casused a delay.
 
I would be very surprised if someone at Aramex doesn't monitor this thread. We are a very good way of getting a good idea on customer satisfaction.

I have one parcel sent in error to Ghana 9352945291 that has no shipping info since Christmas eve.
That pisses me off and I will soon claim.

I have one parcel in customs since 11 January 9276140930. Each day it gets scanned but there is no movement.

The other 9 shipments seem to be coming through no hassles. I hope it stays that way.

If i order something around $29 from the US.

How much you think aramex shipping/customs would be?

Is there a way to get a definite price
 
From my past experience with all courier services is if the parcel is under R500 there is no tax on that parcel.
