Mine's on hold at the UK depot it seems, hasn't even been shipped to SA.
Sometimes a complaint on HelloPeter is required in order for them to do something![]()
It would be great if users can share their shipping time from China/HK to other hubs like Japan, South Korea, Malaysia & Singapore
if wanting to buy from Aliexpress. I'm not sure what is the fastest or have no customs.
Because if using an AGS address outside of the country you are importing from, you might have to pay additional taxes in the transit country with the AGS address and when it lands in SA, you pay taxes a second time.

ORDER DATE Jan 28, 2016 from China
Arrived in Singapore Aramex Feb 11
As it is a bonded warehouse (just passing through) there are no taxes in SG.
No customs stay in SA, so delivered Cape Town Feb 16.
Then we get the UK knobs....
ORDER DATE Feb 06, 2016
Finally found in Aramex UK on Feb 24
Delivered Cape Town March 14th after 6 days in customs.
Aramex Hong Kong are the best. Both times I have used them it has taken 5 days from receipt of item to delivery in Cape Town.
The HK address works well.
I'm only sad about since the 1st of Jan 2016 AGS doesn't ship lithium battery items anymore.
Normal Aramex can still ship.
Do you or someone know if this has since changes?
I doubt they will, and it isn't Aramex that is at fault. They use the mainline carriers for small items and airlines such as SAA and BA refuse to ship batteries anymore.
Shipped mine :/
Li-Poly
They labelled it as 'batteries' (lowercase so I assume hand entered), then changed to 'Others' today and it's Departed.

Items that cannot be shipped from the below origins
All Origins
Flammable Batteries (Noah)
Damaged/broken phones of any kind (iPhone, Samsung etc.) (Me)
Damaged/broken tablets of any kind. (Me)
Oops...
All I can say is that they should make their list easier to access.![]()

:wtf:
That's not only flight time, you know that, right? Customs here alone probably took at least a day of that time.
(Weeps tears of joy) Thank you! I have a shipment coming in from Hong Kong and one coming in from the States. It may not be much of a discount, but I'll take what I can get.![]()
So my latest shipment from the UK has been on hold since the Tuesday 26th because the seller didn't include an invoice. I uploaded one on the AGS site for the shipment, but no update yet. Do I need to email helpdesk as well? My last shipment was on hold for a day or two but then moved pretty quickly.
Having an issue with HK actually, my package has been sitting there since Wednesday...
Aramex does have a list of unacceptable materials, it's just the link from the homepage that's iffy, go here:
