Aramex global shopper

Anybody else not able to see their packages?

"Could not load data. Please try again later"

I don't have adblock enabled for the Aramex site or anything like that.
 
Hello, I want to use AGS for the first time. I have a question about the commercial invoice. Should it include the shipping cost from the store to the AGS centre? I don't want to have to pay customs on that, if I don't have to. Should I ask for two invoices. One for the item and one for the shipping? Or if it is a line item will it be excluded from the calculation?

I'm pretty sure that you only pay customs on the item, not on the shipping fees. Paying customs on shipping fees is unheard of for me.
 
Does anyone have experience with US shops and the NY addresss?

AGS lists this as the address to use:

Address Line1: 182-21 150th Avenue
City: Springfield Gardens
State: NY
Zip Code: 11413
Tel: 718-553-8740

The shop doesn't like the dash in 182-21, it prefers 18221. I am not familiar with US addresses, so would the package get lost without the dash?

You can leave the dash out, it's the same for my NY address when I use Amazon and I have always received my parcels.

Thank goodness, I can confirm that the parcel from ITEAD reached the Shangai AGS office using the english address format with local express shipping (although the tracking number from ITEAD for express shipping did not work on any of the tracking sites that side). Alls well that ends well :-)

Thanks. AGS also confirmed via phone call and via Facebook messenger. They take their time responding, but when they do, it all comes at once :D They are super helpful though.
 
Any ideas to consolidate packages in the uk to ship home using AGS as one package. ?

Also it’s a big volume parcel so shipping with AGS will be much cheaper.

The Shop & Ship app has more information than the Aramex Global Shopper webpage - it says Parallel Air Gripper.

That's weird hey. So I went awol while giving up on the parcel. The parcel was found but working with aramex this last time was such a frustration, I'll rather spend more for alternative couriers in the future. At the rate they work, they will possibly not even deliver something in 50-70 days, nevermind 5-7. When it works and you don't get charged extra fees, its great, but when it goes wrong, it goes disastrously, horribly wrong.
 
JHB taking their time again... And the android app doing its thing in Arabic today...

Has anyone tried using another reship service to consolidate packages then sending it to the Aramex address. The cheapest one I found is MYUS which costs between $12-$20 extra.
 
Using AGS for the first time...

Have a parcel that I sent to my US address, and it's received by Aramex and appearing in my profile.

What are the next steps? When does it ship to SA? When do I get a quote and pay?
 
Is them being slow AF normal?

With Amazon, two days after an item was shipped, it was in my hands. With Gearbest and DHL, same thing.

AGS item shipped on Saturday, but still nothing :/

I've used AGS before but I don't remember them being so slow.
 
Aramex have just phoned me and asked for an English invoice (the one I received was in German). Is this normal?

Just use excel and create your exact same invoice, just an English version.

So I uploaded the invoice to Google Docs and used the built in translation tool - so that will hopefully work!

Any advice for what to do when the seller (Amazon 3rd party) doesn't send you an invoice - and ignores your requests for one?
