It's called a waybill, and clever idea!
Need to use words that the staff will understand when you ask for something. At least in my experience thats how it works in all industries. When I asked for the airway bill document, they sent it to me first time round.

You know, it would actually do AGS good to have a knowledge base article on their website with a specific process on how to request a refund from Amazon and how to get the required docs from them.

I submitted my airway bill. Amazon rejected it. Apparently they need further proof from aramex and the airway bill that i submitted does not have the necessary info. Unfortunately the person who responded to me did so in somewhat broken English so I have asked them to further clarify what they want.

this did not work either :( but i think it may be a problem with the FNB card..
Make sure that your card is capable of international purchases. It should have 3D Secure linked to it. If not, get it done before trying again.
If you have purchased internationally before, then add another card via PayPal.com. Perhaps ask a family member to link their card and try purchasing using their card (you can always remove the card from PayPal later).

So for the first time I have a R322 package detained by customs for "random" inspection.

I am not sure yet what the outcome is or will be, but I will say, the moment I saw that on the tracking, I created a request on the AGS website on the package to find out exactly what they want. Gunter was in contact with me first thing this morning with the exact list of items. After every email I sent him, he would give me a phone call to clarify.

Too bad the company I bought from doesn't generate proper invoices, but it had the information.
So I used https://invoice-generator.com/
Downloaded base64 logo from the official website of the vendor, converted it and uploaded to the invoice.
Copied all the details over and boom Gunter at AGS was happy with it.

So lets see what customs does. I am hoping for the best, expecting they going to find some issue.

They just want the invoice to agree with what you paid on the bank statement you uploaded.
You do that, you're sorted and they release the shipment.

Yeah its just question of $ on invoice vs R on my bank statement, so will see, oh and for some reason invoice is 25 Nov and bank statement transaction is 26 Nov, but the 25th transactions are included.

The discrepancies in date is to be expected. Sometimes an amount is reflected on the bank statement days later.

I'm having the same issue. They want the waybill to have either the amazon order number, or amazon tracking number. The waybill I received does not have either.

So... I'm having an item shipped off to the NY address but unfortunately it is being sent off from another region.
Am I going to have a hard time now?

Not sure what you mean.
Are you worried that, for example, a parcel shipped from Singapore is going to the Aramex New York origin?
No worries, it happens. I have bought from a seller in the UK that only sends to the USA. NY received it no problem.

Yes I'm worried for any taxes they will charge, but hopefully Aramex will sort it out and send it to me. Not actually sure where they shipped it from as they have no more stock left for the US. They probably shipped from Taiwan, tried to give them another address, but they just stuck with NY.
But thank you, that gives me some relief.

Don't think there are any taxes involved as Aramex are a shipping company and merely convey the shipment to the end destination, where all duties and taxes are paid.
I know that orders sent to the Germany address get sent on to us via UK, so it obviously isn't an issue for Aramex.

Is it just me or is Aramex slow AF after an incoming parcel leaves customs?

Item was shipped from the US and arrived. Item cleared customs on the 25th of November. After that - no movement at all.

Ah ok, it makes sense. My only worry is that the courier sending it to NY (I'm not sure who they used) are not aware it is being forwarded on from there and if there are charges due, they may not deliver until payment is made.
I cannot afford for something to go wrong with this package. But let's hope for the best.
