Aramex global shopper

Hi Guys

My mini pc that I bought from china is giving me problems, it is still under warranty so I need to send it back to china for repairs.

I would like to know what's the best courier to use, I don't want to pay alot for shipping so can you advise me on what options I have?

Buffalo? They're Chinese and may be the cheapest.
 
Question for anyone that has used MYUS or Aramex, I just wanted to do you have to pay any extra import duties and taxes once your parcel arrives in South Africa. and Between the 2 services mentioned above which is the better one to use, those of you who have used both services.

I posted this in another Amazon thread and then saw this one.

Yes, most of the time. If your parcel is well below R500 in total value then sometimes you get lucky and it just goes through.

Ah thanks, I figured that something was up with the price. Would you know about import tax is the tax on the cost of the item purchased minus the shipping cost or including the shipping cost.

Depends on how the shipping company calculates on the forms they submit. In my experience, usually included if there is shipping cost on the original invoice you provide.
 
Hi, the seller I bought from says when he puts the New York address into USPS system it autocorrects to this354747681_6240942375997583_2769427817148158108_n.jpg
Is this fine? It's different from the regular address.

Q about FedEx. I recently purchased beads from China. Cost about R1100. Now FedEx wants me to pay R500+ before releasing my package. Is this usual. Customs was definitely not much.
 
Ask them for the customs documents. All charges will be listed. Their clearance fee will be around 250 or so alone. So sounds right
 
Hi everyone. Just a quick question. I am getting something delivered from Malaysia to RSA via AGS. Just a few questions:

Do i need to upload the invoice to AGS portal before it arrives at their offices in Malaysia? Will I get a chance to upload it once it arrives? How do I do this?
Is AGS Protect worth it on an item less than US $100?

They will email you asking you to upload the invoice.
 
Anyone else having timeout issues on the AGS site this week? Really hit and miss, particularly when trying to upload docs or pay duties/fees...

Nope. Was working fine for me. My app was not working though. Forced to use website.
