Anyone else experiencing delays in the UK? Parcel was dropped off at Aramex UK 7 days ago but still not showing.

Yes, not at the 7 day mark yet my side, but they're certainly much slower than normal.
Maybe message them to check, give them the tracking number.

When you used to AGS, and for one order, you use Fedex express....
Never seen this in my life.
Start:
Thursday, 2024/01/18 01:16 Shipment information sent to FedEx
End:
Monday, 2024/01/22 15:11 Package delivered in my hands
And thats with a weekend in-between.
Delivery was also not that expensive either.
Best is, I only paid R150 processing fee and the 15% vat.
Now that, is service.

So got the usual mail from AGS saying "Customs Duties and Taxes are due and should now be paid online using our 'Pay Now' feature."
This was just before 1pm today.
Well, there is no usual Pay Now button anywhere on the airway bill page or any other page.
Are they just delayed maybe? Or is their site maybe borked again?
Will msg them if nothing showing by later tonight.

Seems their site is problematic, it's a button called Pending Payments on the Accounts page, but it doesn't work, when trying to pay on credit card or PayPal it generates a zero charge and then fails...

Yesterday I did a "claim package" on the website and today it showed up in my package list. I will see when I get it if the sender forgot to put my Aramex code on the package or not.
You may have to wait 24h. If you don't pay soon, your AGS will say your item was confiscated by Customs.

Thx, sent them a msg and they just responded saying they'll generate and mail me a payment link for the charges - guy said the payment option/s is currently not working...
Quick q. about to finally register for Aramex Global Shopper - how does their import process work? Do they whack all sorts of fees on - or is it just the government import duties. I've dealt with some shitty couriers locally that add R100s on for clearance.

Just imagine Aramex Global Shooper is Aramex. They basically is Aramex and charge what Aramex direct would have charged you. The shipping fee is somewhat different though, uses the AGS fees.
Also, if Aramex have a queue of packages, AGS is least priority.
What do Aramex usually charge? I've only used them internationally with Amazon, which includes all the fees.
For example, say I were to order a R1500 bike accessory.... (I'm not - but - just wanting to get an understanding of what they'd charge on relatively low value items - besides the usual goverment duties)

In my experience, if you can order with Amazon US/UK direct and let them do the shiiping, prefer that over AGS. Amazon prevents the added fees etc. Same with ebay global shipping program.
Items under R500 usually goes through without attracting import fees.

And for a $12 and $29.99 package I paid no clearance or VAT.

Having the same issue today paying the Customs and Taxes. E-mailed them, chatted to the web consultant, reached out via Facebook and left a support ticket.............hopefully one of those they will respond to. Did you wait long for them to fix the link ?
Must say their site is very unresponsive in general. Not sure if its for every one, but the docs uploaded I can't download and view them. Once downloaded they are all 0kb.

Agree, their site is terrible recently, have to reload numerous times before it loads properly.
They eventually sent me a payment link via email, about a day later. Now it's taken till today for the shipment info to actually update, showing the fees due (although paid), so reckon it'll take another few days before customs releases after payment is confirmed in the background.
These delays aren't normal in my experience with them, but that site is causing endless problems. Even uploading the invoice took many tries...
I suppose we have to just be patient, it will eventually get sorted...

If you want insurance, just remember to activate AGS protect before the item arrives at the destination address of AGS in the country you're purchasing in.

So about 12 days now since AGS London took receipt on 18 January.
Peach payment link was sent to me on Friday and I paid immediately and confirmed the payment via return email.
If all goes smoothly, it should be out for delivery tomorrow, fingers crossed.
