@Flame. Your line is set to ADSL_2plus. So I am assuming you are using an ADSL Router. You need to get a Router that supports VDSL. If you received it from Telkom with the new install, it most probably does support VDSL and telkom just needs to change the port to VDSL.

I had the same issue a while back, but I went a bought a "VDSL" router, but when Telkom changed the port, I had no internet. Turned out that the "VDSL" Router didn't support PPPoE over VDSL.

Sorry, I have limited knowledge, but this is the best I can offer. :)

Terrick says i am on IMAX DLSAM and not MSAN or ISAM...so no need for vdsl..it sync on adsl....

Just funny my torrents run at 1.6mb/sec but speedtests go up to 2.1mb/sec (MEGABYTE) and its capped unshapped at axxess...

1.6mbps torrent downloads means its roughly at 12-13mbps speeds
