Not inaccurate, but misleading.
They are presenting these stats on a per capita basis, when it should be done on a per household basis, clearly to mislead on purpose.
42% of the worlds population is is under 24, and 8% above 65. A small minority in these age groups actually work and earn.
In the 24-65 age group a large proportion are also not working - dependant on the household's breadwinner.
You will get a better idea of your standing income wise if you take net income (I assume gross less tax) divided by the number of your dependants.
