I think the EFF guys being near ANC supporters if they get edgy is not the best of ideas.

EFF supporters would probably welcome such a confrontation. But they'll not march to Luthuli house. It's more likely they plan on doing their own thing later. They'll likely march to the union buildings or the saxonworld shebeen when they do mobilise.

On the way to town. Easy 200 were at Bayside, they seem to have gone to town. About 150 at sunset beach, another 150 at racecourse and another 150 at Woodbridge. Woodbridge they started chanting. Think everyone headed to town. About 2/3 on this bus are headed to the protests in town.

Is the cynicism necessary or helpful, you think?

My Facebook feed and WhatsApp chat groups are filled with my friends going on about how they're changing SA for the better, but I'm just not seeing it. When you ask anyone how this March is going to help get Zuma out of the office, you're met with blank stares at best and aggression at worst. Everyone seems convinced that they're doing their part by showing up and someone at the 'top' is taking care of the rest. But truthfully, either there is no plan or it's not being shared with the people on the ground because a bunch of people meandering about doesn't seem like much of a plan to me.

A bit more realism is what I ask for. Zuma and the ANC have proven time and again that they don't give a flying crap about citizens being angry. So what is this protest going to accomplish, that the 2015 ZumaMustFall protest couldn't, and how is it going to accomplish that? Nobody seems able to answer these questions satisfactorily, or even at all. Everyone seems to be convinced they're doing the right thing and that they're part of something bigger than themselves. You know what else is bigger than an individual? A wad of semen. And semen regularly serves no purpose other than to be spurted in places it can do nobody any good.

It is about making your voice heard. Voting doesn't give you the opportunity.
It's about unity.

It's about showing up and not just moaning behind a pc screen
It's about showing that you are not ok with what is happening

All change is started by one person voicing an alternative opinion and getting more people to voice theirs

It wont get him to leave office but it shows that people of all walks of life are gatvol of that useless moron. This might show members in the ANC that they need to make a change at the top.

Yup. ANC's survival tactic is to foment racial division and fear.
If we can show them it's not working, they will have to come up with a better plan.
