Article: "Avatar 2" will take viewers underwater

IMDb gives a more realistic score. But regularly based on hype, so just have to learn how to read (the critics) between the lines.

Their score won't start before the Friday release, Rotten Tomatoes are amateurs.
 
First Avatar was great. OK basic storyline, we were all impressed what they can do with the cgi.
The second Avatar long drawn out storyline. They wanted to show us their water cgi, but nobody cares.
Third one they probably just trying to milk us some more. Will watch it for free on Disney or The Black Pearl.

just like Matrix 2 and 3, you will be left behind and once it comes out on high seas everybody will watch it.

but each to his own, I'm definitely gonna watch it, loved the entire series so much.
cant wait to see an Evil Navi tribe.
 
Reviews say its practically a remake of Way of Water. Story, dialogue , characters as bankrupt as ever.
I'll watch this but only to compensate for the high seaing(?) I've been doing.

If you loved the first two movies or perhaps didn't like the second one you'll love this one. The story just gets a lot better. I thought I wouldn't notice the 3D but then I did and it's incredible. One of the few movies / directors to get it right. Also the graphics are still 10 years ahead of other movies for me. All in all spending R200 is a no brainer for me to forget the world and my life for 3h and 20 odd minutes.

James Cameron and Christopher Nolan are the only two directors still making flock to the theatre proper blockbuster movies for me and I'll gladly do just that to watch them.

I kinda ignore the reviewers. I've enjoyed many movies with low ratings, said warra pot of ** for apparently excellent movies. Sometimes I agree.

I liked 1, 2 was okayish, enjoyed the scenes more - kinda like watching an aquarium while appreciating the art. Forced relaxation but ultimately enjoyable. So I'll just grab some popcorn and coke with the wife and see if i enjoy the ride.
 
Only took 14 years...

Can't go see it because they only released it post covid which means I have small children and no baby sitter.
