Clearly the Israeli's and the Palestinians have been waiting with baited breath to hear what the ANC has to say about this.

Israeli: These numpties keep shooting rockets at our citizens, and when we respond we get labelled as the aggressors. It's at times like these that I look at my wristband and ask myself, WWJD (What Would Jacob Do?)

Palestinian: These freaking extremist nutjobs just used my house as a shelter and got it blown up by the Israelis. All I can think about though is what the ANC is going to make of this situation.

Hamas: HERP A DERP DERP! ANC is speaking our language!

I agree Palestinians are far from innocent in this. However we do need to keep in mind that Israel is building houses on Palestinian land.

When someone throws stones at the tank sure one should rightly expect a military retaliation. However moving civilians onto the land is something else entirely.

Military retaliation. Not moving civilians in. Very very difficult to justify the moving of civilians into that land. (go ahead, try justify it, should be a hilarious read)

Does Israel have every right to retaliate when it is attacked? Yes, heck it can even move military forces into Palestine if it wants to really kick some ass. Does it have a right to annex another county's land and stick its own civilians on it? No.

and where is the ANC response to the brutal murder of the 3 israeli teenagers and the hundreds of rockets being launched at civilians in israel, israel has every right to defend itself and hamas are terrorists... anc look after south africans still living in shacks or being evicted from their homes in the middle of winter , fools!!

Well the Palestinians not going sit idly when their land was stolen. The whole middle East is a sh#t storm. The French and British done f*#ked it up.

The Assyrians, Persian, Romans, Byzantines, Islamic caliphate, Turks, Crusaders, Mongols and Ottoman Empire all played their part in the area prior to the British.

Not to be forgotten are the earliest and very detailed accounts in the OT of how the Hebrews invaded the land (promised to them by a mythical entity) and slaughtered all the inhabitants, keeping only the virgins as sex slaves.

The West Bank and Gaza are very little different to occupied Europe between 1939 and 1945 and nobody should be surprised that the legitimate inhabitants resist with all the limited means at their disposal.

1. Israel need to stop with their settlements and need to move back to their 1967 borders.
2. Hamas need to stop with the rockets.
3. Hamas and the Arab World at large need to recognise Israel's right to exist.
4. Israel, the US and Britain need to acknowledge the State of Palestine.

But no, derps, derps everywhere.
 
To the guys that are justifying the air raids currently going on, i have a few questions.

1 Gaza is the most densely populated area in the world and thus far 400 tonnes of bombs have rained down, how is there any precision ?

2. Is it not in Israels best interest to keep Gaza from building any infrastructure at all? Read here

3. The air raids that kill many innocents (woman and children) is akin to using a bazooka to kill a few roaches at home. You are going to hurt many of the residents.

The old argument of the fact that Hamas was elected doesn't hold true, Hamas is not a group of leaders but an aggressive force with ideology that spews hatred. However they have most of the arms and like most groups rule by fear. If asked most of the Gaza strip residents would probably go against Hamas, but would that fit in with the link in point 2 ??
