So many errors, feel like it was a Google Translate. Does anyone read these before publishing?

Thanks for pointing out the errors.

The piece is part of a newswire service we use, and we are not allowed to make changes to the articles (why we publish them as they come out), but I can look at the errors and amend where permitted. Small mistakes are normally fine to correct.

Edit - all the errors have been corrected. Thanks for the message - we really appreciate it.

Okay that makes sense I suppose. Pity they don't have an english editor to pass these through.

Your plural use for SMS is confusing, you switch between SMSs, SMS messages, SMS and SMS notifications. I would recommend picking one and using it consistently.

Is that a typo?

The article is about Gigaba being accused of corruption involving Transnet and suddenly Denel is mentioned once without further elaboration. Is Denel involved in Transnet contracts?

The "affair" bullet point has been changed to "employee's wife", which clears up remaining issues.
