Funny, I've never been to a sports event where smokers moan about not being able to smoke. The only moaners are people who have these imaginary delusions about what smokers will or will not say/do. Again, you're just complaining and being a knob for the sake of it.

Alcohol isn't a physical addiction. It's a psychological one.

We're talking about smoking which is a physical addiction to nicotine.

Let me think about this for a moment. Smokers who complain that they can't smoke in the stadium and still abide by the rules vs a single prick who wants the entire bar to accommodate him.

Whose side do I pick?

there are plenty of things that can kill you over a period of time. smoking causes cancer, but people don't smoke to get cancer, they smoke because it relaxes them. everybody is different, some people it affects more negatively, some people who smoke never get cancer. some people who spend a happy ten years smoking die in a car accident and lived the way they wanted to live :p

i thought we were talking about how certain people don't like smoking and want others to stop smoking even if it's not their choice :p :D

i'm just teasing you, and while some people may disagree it is ultimately their choice, no amount of labels or taxes or regulations are going to stop people, it's just going to make it more uncomfortable for them

Either way, even if he does complain, he's abiding by the rules. You on the other hand want the rules changed to accommodate you.

The only reason those smokers do not smoke in the stadium is because it is not allowed by law. Without the law, they would not give a toss.

And I am sure that I am the only person in the world that would like to go to a bar and not smell like an ashtray the next morning. Good for me.

Smoking relaxes them because withdrawal symptoms stresses them out. It's self inflicted and circular.

Smokers should realise that smoking is a high risk of cancer - it is a HIGH risk. Personally, I shudder at the thought me getting cancer and leaving my family with the burden of not having their spouse and father around...

Is the enjoyment worth THEIR pain (even the 'chance' of it happening)?

No, not for me.

Find another bar then, nobody is forcing you to use that one. Or open your own bar where smoking is not allowed.

Find another bar. You don't have the right to tell the owner who he should allow in. The fscking nerve of some people.
