Article: Oscar Pistorius affidavit

Oscar Pistorius denied murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on the morning of Valentine's Day, in an affidavit read out to the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

"I deny the allegation in the strongest terms. Nothing can be further from the truth," said the affidavit read by Pistorius's lawyer advocate Barry Roux.

He put "on" his legs, and broke the door open with a cricket bat, got a key and opened it.

The story doesn't make sense to me. If he was so scared of violent crime, why does he leave sliding doors open in the night? Which door was it, the bedroom?

Why walking out onto the balcony to close a sliding door? To get a fan? Who keeps fans on balconies?

Why not switching on lights? That's something you naturally do, isn't it?

Why didn't she answer when he apparently shouted out loud several times? He must have knows where she was.

How is it possible that there is a complete lack of communication between him and Reeva?

If you are so dearly in love with somebody, you naturally want to protect this person and would NEVER shoot through a closed door. You would make sure your girlfriend is safe before you shoot several times.

What happened to the cricket bat? Did she have a fractured skull or not?
 
werent there 4 shots?. uhm why would the burglars flee into the toilet and say its dark. he was sobbing because of the lies!!

Yep. His affidavit raises more questions than it gives answers. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day. Hope the IO has his story straight.
 
If you make absurd enough assertions people will believe you, as it must be true.

Also why would the intruder say 'it's dark in the bathroom'

Also, I"m pretty sure Reeva sounds a lot different to your typical burglar. Unless afrikaans women have been robbing Silverwoods lately

He went to the balcony and while he was there she got up and went to the bathroom. Maybe she locked the door because she was taking a dump. He heard a noise there and shot first THEN shouted that she must call the cops.

It doesn't really matter what he says though, in millions of South Africans minds he has been guilty since last Thursday.

if Reeva was there and had locked the door and it was pitch dark inside and outside would she have said to herself "it's pitch dark in here"?

if a burglar was was there and had locked the door and it was pitch dark inside and outside would he/she have said to himself/herself "it's pitch dark in here"?

is this boy on drugs or just hallucinating or was Reeva and the burglar both in the bathroom talking and the burglar made a getaway OR was Reeva on her phone with someone else using her Vodacom NIGHT SHIFT Promotion?
