Article: SA has lost confidence in Zuma: DA

Curiously, what impact has the DA made to the people who live in Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha, Nyanga, Langa, Gugulethu etc? Surely they should be bragging about their positive contribution to those places. When people from there vote for DA, it will unsettle the ANC.

Well, their percentage of the votes are growing, so surely some significant part of that has to come from those areas? A large section of the CPT population lives there, after all.

why? All parties have same agenda.

Indeed they do, but voting against the serving party will encourage them to be less corrupt about it, and more money will reach when it's actually needed in the community.

Parties only perform when under threat of being kicked out... so go vote.

Name the party that is not corrupt or does not have scandals?

LESS corrupt.

You'll always get corrupt individuals - however, why not look at how a party treats those who are caught with their hands in the cookie jar?
Hint: Vote for ANY but the one that makes them president.

If that is the case then, we should be seeing more DA people from those places bragging how their lives have improved. Just as much as we see people from other parts of the country angry about service delivery w.r.t ANC. This would help sell the DA's case i think.

I think they are good on paper but not on delivery to the poor outside City of CT.

Yeah, I agree. That's where they need their profile to grow most. Sad that those areas become a political football, though. Like with the whole toilet saga. At least it gets some attention on the problems there, I suppose.

Are you agreeing with us that DA needs to delivery service to the poor not CT only?

No, he's saying they need to trumpet their successes in delivering service to the poor a lot more than they do.
