Yeah, I agree. That's where they need their profile to grow most.

I think there will always be political football fields fueled by perceptions. You can only manage those through active, visible felt leadership. Zille is good at that. She is not shy to reach out to the masses as much as she is comfortable around a strategic table. DA needs more people of her character w.r.t to people's skills. e.g. Nosimo Balindlela.

If Mamphele Ramphele joined the DA, it could free Zille to do what she does best. Mamphele would also act as a role model, shape Lindiwe to have a better understanding of SA politics.
