While i undestand the concept, I do not understand why you are still involved with him. I know there are children involved, and yes a divorce can and will cause havoc with them, but why continue to punish yourself to satisfy him?

From what i read you are now very happy with someone else, why not move on? ( I ask this without knowing the specifics of your relationship with your husband, just what i have read)

It's complicated and I don't feel like discussing it on an open forum....that's just too personal.

I think after so many years, they might have a brother sister relationship now that works financially for everyone involved. If it aint broke, why try and fix it?

Edit: I'm sure if things develop more in either of their lives they will eventually move on in such a way that everyone wins.
