Sorry to bore all the others that know but I'll repeat it in a nutshell to those that don't....

He told me straight out - I fully accepted it from the word go - yes, I was hurt and cut up, and it took me a helleva long time to get over but, on the other hand, it was kind of a release as I knew something was never right in our relationship but I just didn't know what - it all fell into place the day he told me.

The one factor that kept us from moving on straight away, was that I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer one month after he told me about his sexuality. I then had to have all the treatments, ops, etc, so it was all very badly timed.
