I read this book about 20 years ago. Astrology is scientific in many ways. We organisms are indeed influenced by the planets and celestial systems, as we swing around and spin though the solar system.

True, we are a product of our environment, which includes the solar system and the universe as a whole. It doesn't mean that generic mass produced astronomy readings have any bearing on our lives, other than a self-fulfilling prophecy - but that's an issue for sociologists and psychologists.

I wonder what the Cosmo magazine astronomy section will say on the day that asteroid smacks into the Earth?
