Any chance you could go during the week? So they can contact whomever it is they want you to contact, so that both hands know what the other is doing and give you a proper answer instead of "this one said, that one said"

It's been with them since the 20th of August. Didn't get time to go to the store yesterday will try to go either today or tomorrow.

Don't waste your time with the minions in store - demand to see him as you walk in the door.

Those I've had the displeasure of dealing with were completely spineless - just firmly and quietly insist that s/he sort the issue out - just 2 days short of a month without resolution is ridiculously pathetic 'service'

Asus ROG Ally version with the Ryzen Z1 now available for $600/€710

Asus launched its handheld gaming console, the ROG Ally, back in April with two versions – the $700 model with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme and the slightly cheaper $600 version with the regular AMD Ryzen Z1. The former has been on sale for a while now and we gave it a mostly positive review. But now the cheaper version is available.

Is it worth saving $100? The only notable difference is the APU, the $600 version comes with the same 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB storage as the $700 model, same 7” 1080p 120Hz display (16:9) and same 40Wh battery too.

But the Z1 is proving to be too big of a step back compared to the Z1 Extreme. Digital Trends reports that it is slower than the Steam Deck APU and the Valve console is cheaper – $400 for the 64GB eMMC version, $530 for the 256GB NVMe version and a higher $650 if you want to match the 512GB storage of the Ally.

Anyways if anyone plans on playing it there are some pretty horrible default dead zone settings. You need to adjust the throttle and brake dead zones in settings...

Went today and the tech support left for the day.

There is no one that knows how to use the system to check the status of my order. The manager was not in the store.

@Lupus would you be interested in this 1TB drive I got from Shein. Less that 1 hour run time? Not looking to make a profit, just recouping some expenses

Oh no it's actually not the one I ordered initially, ordered this one for a different device but that person changed their mind lol

Edit: I know this isnt a sale thread and I wont use it as such, but i do have a console and some accessories available if anyone is interested. Hardshell carrying case, a PU clear case with a kickstand which looks awesome btw, 1x screen protector and that 1TB SSD as mentioned above. Oh and an unused Z1E console itself but you guys can PM if you interested in any or all of it xD

Was actually going to sell my 1TB SSD also, with GeForce Now might not need it :/
