Yea - lets keep it civilized guys. As we all know Nvidia is better than ATI. I mean ATI is better than Nvidia. Or is it Nvidia is better than ATI? Argh, I never know the correct order!

Does anyone know when NVIDIA are supposed to be releasing something to compete with these?
I mean actually compete... Not their ten-grand baby for sale at Prophecy.

July sometime, the 9800GTX+. Expect results/numbers/a review/something sometime tomorrow.

As promised, 9800GTX+ Stripped. It has got a 55nm die and faster clocks and is set to take on the HD4850 a bit better than its predecessor and maybe even the HD4870. But we'll see about that

Any ideas when the 9800GT will be out?

July 15th - 55nm - Expect delays because the 9500 (55nm) got pushed to late July.

You do know that there is a monumental (kind of) difference between the 9800GTX and 9800GTX+, right?

Ye unfortunately the 4850 kills the 8800gt.

One review OC'd it to something like 700/2300 on the stock cooler, and performance was touching 8800 Ultra !!

Honestly, when the price comes down a little and you add a 3rd party cooler, combined with revised drivers, the price/performance ratio is freakin crazy!

so if a 4950 performance i nearing an ultra's speed and a 9800gtx is faster than an ultra how can someone be a moron for wanting to buy something that beats an ultra as opposed to buying something nears an ultra?

9800gtx out performs an ultra, a single 4850 just loses
