AVG Free 8.0 - "Invalid Update Control CTF File"

OK, I just recently switched BACK to AVG Free 8.0 after doing the rounds of all the other AV products.

Now I am seeing this message more and more..."Invalid Update Control CTF File"

Anyone know what that means and how I can fix it?

"I eventually deleted all the *.CTF files in my “C:\Users\All Users\avg8\update\download” directory. That solved the problem. Hopefully this post will save someone else some time, let me know if it does.."

The correct folder is actually...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Avg8\Update\Download\*.ctf
