Any other work I can then do while studying ? Had accounting and IT as school subjects,that has to count for something.

Funny, somebody from ENS giving typography lessons :D

I slowly became the nemesis of one of your partners sending him first a grammatically corrected version of the contracts (around 10 errors per page in average) before commenting the content.

Then we switched to the competition, a bit lower in West Street, so I don't have this weekly enjoyment anymore !

Like I said I have a contact,but that is technically a contact of my cousin whom is a big shot in the commerce world,she works for a bank.

I have excellent marks for a career such as law,but not for a web developer or anything IT,which was what I was brain washed my whole life to think;that is what I want to do,but I was terrible at it ! So credit to IT people !

Of course I would reply. I care enough about this little community to contribute and add value on whatever manner possible.

By all means you should try and secure a position such as that you desire. But also be willing to consider, if you are inclined to work while studying, to take a position within the firm that may not be law related at first (to help pay studies etc). I have known a few to follow this path initially, before resigning to become a candidate attorney within the same firm.

If I can assist in some way, I will. If you want general advice on the profession, I'd be happy to discuss.

Hahahah :) this happens, sorry to see you go but you are in good hands at BG. I would be happy to show you real value add, should you ever consider switching again.

I don't know of one firm that will appoint people without a LLB, big or small.

also the LLB is bigger the BCL because its a plural, the JD is kinda the tall but skinny kid in the family :D

I haven't ever seen at it any of the big firms. But I personally know people employed as candidate attorneys at medium/small firms that are still completing their LLB's.
 
What aspects of Aviation would you see yourself working in? Air Law? Airworthiness and certification? Air Crash Investigation?
 
Rather get your LLM before you specialise in a direction. My sister got her LLM and it allowed her to go to Germany and specialise in forestry and the legal side there of.
 
Most realistic at this point,International transport law,as that is a fourth year subject at Unisa.

Funny thing happened yesterday ...

A guy from careerworx called me yesterday,and told me he had a job for me,but the minimum requirement was that I have to be a smoker,because everyone in the office smokes,in the office ...

Isn't that kind of illegal ?
