Axxess, at long last ....

I don't really blame Axxess. Or anyone besides The Axis of Evil Telkom / ICASA / Ivy.

Looks like an IS ISP for me too. Has the added benefit of avoiding Saix. And honstly regarding SAOL, when something looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

is there an IS ISP that does not ask me to pay DOUBLE on signing up and does not force me to buy SPECIFIC router so I can use my Billion?

R999/30GB on their own infrastructure....hardly better.

hardly.... um it is nearly 50% better than Telkom, when I was taught maths at school 50% was quite a bit!

that is what everyone said about WA and the R199 deal

What really makes no sense is SHAPED AND CAPPED .... if u cap .. no need to shape, if u have uncapped then shape ...

But this has been discussed way too many times before :)
And answered many times too.

ISPs use capping and shaping for one purpose .... to force their user base to collectively spread their demand for bandwidth as evenly as possible over the entire month.

Why ... cause ISP wish to ensure that there arent periods in the month that their service degrades to a point where the majority of the users find it unsatifactory.

guys phone saol now

ask about their offer

its much better you pay 299 for 30 but all they ask is you dont use all your 30 and only use around 20 still 299 for 20 gigs is awesome

and no i dont work for them dont want an allyoucaneat situation again

Well I find capping+shaping completely unsatisfactory all of the time.

As Capt. Kirk would say ... "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" ... or was it Spock?

Shaping might be a very good thing, when it's applied to prices...
