Axxess has managed me again.

I have been throttled severely by Axxess. But after the Axxes Lady anounced the fact all seems to be normal I checked and low and behold ... I was not not managed anymore.

That lasted for 2 hours.

That was this afternoon at about 13:00 (Saturday afternoon). It lasted as long as my usual love affairs. And depicts my luck with women ... Ironic that the Axxess rep is also a woman. They have a habit of screwing me over, 40-luv. NOT that "screwing" is typical of the nature of my relationships. Quite the contrary.

I'm back to being managed again (Saturday evening).

Bit OT but Picard, you lost your black cap, I'm using mine now when I take my new model plane out for a spin. Is a awesome cap in black :D

We are currently seeing a degradation of performance on our network which is resulting in slow speeds. We attribute this to certain popular software updates being released which is resulting in above average usage on the network. We are monitoring closely and will update with further information as it becomes available.

Same here, but the notice on the website from this afternoon does reflect that all the Apple users haven't gotten the update out of their systems yet.

Axxess downloads sitting at about 500 kbps since Thursday and each time I phone support I am told they are working on the issue and it is those dastardly Apple people screwing everything up. And today I came to the astounding conclusion - Apple users do NOT use Telkom, they seem to have a strange affinity for Afrihost and Axxess only as my Telkom account is still sitting at 4.3 Mbps - on Thursday it did slow down to between 3.0 Mbps and 3.5 Mbps but by evening it was back to normal.
Moral of the story - manage your Axxess subscription too and stick with Telkom

So, 3.55Gb into the month, and Axxess is managing my Uncapped account.

How on earth is this reasonable or fair?

This is severely affecting my decision to move over to Axxess...they were one of my options.

My account is also MANAGED, logged a ticket and was told the whole of the Northern Area is being managed, didn't even bother to call me, I checked on the site myself.

This being the 2nd time in 2 months, will be removing my DSL Line from Axxess and Acccount and move to another ISP.

I have just cancelled my Axxess subscription, time to vote with my feet.

Same story my side. Been like this most of last month. Beginning of this month the account was flying but last couple of days back to crawling!!

Reckon this will be my last month subscribed to what can only be described as a farcical attempt at an uncapped product!

getting 5kbps on torrentz with 10kbps upload was fine but thought torrents were faster on weekends dunno

My 10mb line is nearly always managed. And I only do about 200-250gig a month. Though, I can't say it actually effects my experience much, just YouTube becomes slower which is a ball ache.
