That's 9 hours for 16Gb on a local connection...
You would only just make the 40Gb per day that the thread starter was getting... for 20 days solid... eish
And that's assuming he was d'lding 24/7 from a local connection on 4Mbps.
BUT he has a 384 uncapped account from Axxess... which says:
This means that he is getting 4mbps for only 12 hours a day....
soooo... again.... HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?
By my calculations, on a 384kbps uncapped+ account it is not possible:
4096 (512KB) * 60seconds is roughly 15MB per minute
15MB * 60 minutes in an our is 900MB per hour
there are 120 hrs of 4Mbps speed per week
thats 120 * 900MB is 108000MB per week
4 weeks is about 421.875GB
now for the 384kbps time
384kbps * 60seconds 2.8MB
2.8MB * 60 minutes 168MB per hour
168 * 60 hours in a week is 9.8 GB
4 weeks is about 39.2 GB
So in total the download can reach 461GB in a 28day period
If we assume an upload sync speed of 640 kbps then:
640 * 60 seonds is 4.7 MB per minute
4.7MB * 60 minutes is 282 MB per hour
672 hours in a 28 day window
so 672 * 282MB is 185GB per month
so the total possible (no overheads) with the 384kbps uncapped + account is: 185+461 = 646GB per 28 days
Either the original poster was using an 8Mbps line and axxess is allowing it, or he is missreading his total usage or axxess is not dropping his speed during the day and he is getting full 4mbps all hours.
