Bad Driving thread

Blue Honda Jazz - BF 56 WM GP

Female driver nearly causes an accident as shown by proceeding out of her side street while someone is approaching, making the other car have to swerve around her, while I driving around going CPF/NW patrol. As I pass her I notice she is talking on her cellphone. I safely execute a u-turn and proceed to follow her where I know she will be stopped by the robot, she was still fully engaged in her phone call there. I should have pointed the dashcam at her so you could all have seen the look of disgust that I dared to indicate to her she must put her phone down .

Do CPF okes automatically become spietkops?

This is what happens when you yield on a slipway and the dwis behind you doesn't. This is also what my wife's Mazda looks like now after an Amarok ploughed into it this morning.20190805_070816.jpg

They aren't queue jumpers, plenty of vaakseuns in the queue on their cellphones or doedies doing makeup, leaving huge gaps. Drivers who take advantage of it are just being opportunistic. Although I somewhat agree with your point, if you chance it, and get to the end without finding a gap, then take the Botha street offramp rather than trying to force your way in and block the whole lane.
So you’re one of those...

Damn, I hope your wife is OK. Cars can be replaced, but human lives not so much

You are going to wrong way in what he is referring to, he is referring to south bound, not the north bound side (which you must be referring to since you mention Botha Ave).

There isn't anything illegal about it, unless one crosses the solid white line in the last 50m or so, or blocks the remaining 4 lanes.
Which are you? One of the hundreds of Telkom employees dawdling in the queue?

A woman swore, gestured and hooted to at me last year cause I dared stop at the yield into Boeing Rd, from S Mahlangu Drive, she must somehow think my car can occupy the same space at the same time as a double cab bakkie in Boeing Rd...

Interesting, seems there was a change between 2015 (picture below) and 2017 (your screengrabs). I haven't used the N1 in that direction in ages so based it on my old knowledge and then on what streetview showed from main highway, didn't click on left lane). So now both directions are similar. Is the traffic bad that way? I know John Vorster N1S offramp and approach is very congested in mornings.

Has anyone else experienced an increase in people opening street side car doors before letting a passing car get clear? We live in Parkhurst so are regularly drive along 4th Avenue and the number of people getting in to or out of either parked cars or Uber's and opening doors while other cars are passing has significantly increased.

Yes, it's congested in the morning, most probably Telkom employees who, despite working for a Telco, don't understand what work from home is about.

Me? I’m a demon at overtaking tractors on the way to work. Combine harvesters even. And one day I’m going to go straight under one of those John Deere R4045 elevated sprayers just to see if I fit.

You seem a little butt-hurt about Telkom employees. Did one of them run off with your wife?
