Bad Google Kitkat!

And here's why you should always read the competition rules, bitches.

Sorry, didn't mean to call you bitches, autocorrect.

Same as above, if I enter 10 times and win once, I just send in my slip for the one KitKat I entered 10 times for, as once again the KitKats barcodes are the same so there's no way the USSD thingymabob can tell the difference between what KitKat was used.

Heck I enter 10 times and my gf enters 10 time too with the same KitKat (barcodes are the same), whoever wins just takes the till slip for the one KitKat.

Still doesn't explain anything dipstick, I mean dipshyt, wait damn autocorrect... Oh wait I'm on a PC :p

Just be sure that the date on your slip is from before you sent the SMS obviously. They love refuting prize claims.

This sounds very haphazard. The US version of the competition has the sticker inside the wrapper and you have to enter it online.
But Nestle SA is cheap -wanted to cut costs as far as possible and also get some cellular data in the process.

I didn't win a Nexus tablet. :(

But I really fancy one of those KitKat mint chocolates now. :D

saw them at checkers in centurion
think they had all the flavours
got the yoghurt one
wasnt bad

but I hate these sms competitions
I prefer the older days when you could win just buying the product or collecting enough wrappers etc
sms comps suck

Well no, they can get unique barcodes from here https://www.gs1za.org/ that will tell them where the chocolate was bought if their logistic systems are up to the job.

I think each flavour/size will have a different barcode, but thats about it
they should get the other info from the lot no that is printed afterwards with best before date

imagine the mission if you had to load products with new barcodes into the system all the time

Why? I much prefer SMS competitions, so much less effort to enter. I remember filling out hundreds of postcards trying to win the K-TV competitions back in the day.

Picked up the special ones at Pick n Pay.
Irish Cream - eh, tastes smoky.
Yogurt - don't make me do it again.
Mint - I'll tell you later - I'm not a glutton. But I hope its so good it should actually be sold in plain packaging and kept under the counter.

And no - No Nexus. Seeing as the batches all have the same last 4 digits, I think this is a complete numbers game and probably runs on the number of times you've entered. Besides - I allready have 2, don't need another one.

So the different flavours had the same bar code number? And you could enter multiple times using that barcode number?

Well That's silly. You don't even need to buy a Kit-Kat to enter then.

Trust Android to be so open and have such security flaws, this wouldn't have happened had it been an Apple competition, but then the Kit-Kat would have cost R90 and you'd have to install some software before you could eat it.

And enter your fingerprint...

Irish Cream Kitkat, anyone? I just bought one yesterday but it seems to be the Chunky Kitkat range only...

Kit Kat Chunky Yoghurt - barcode: 600106869 6604
Kit Kat Chunky Plain - barcode: 600102523 1800
Kit Kat Chunky Irish Cream - barcode: 600106869 6505
Kit Kat Chunky Mint - barcode: 600106869 6406
They are definitely tracking cell number as they ask different questions each time. Age group, Province, Gender, etc

If it is only a 1000 Nexus tabs globally, chances of winning are slim ...

DIAL *120*548528*THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR KIT KAT BARCODE#
and stand a chance to win one of 1000 nexus tablets. Cost 20c/20sec

I bought all 3 flavours twice and even the plain chunky and the normal Kitkat, 8 Kitkats!

And nothing, all questions have been different though...

All my barcodes seemed to be different though, can't remember the yoghurt ones...

Hi everyone,

It seems that the results of their promotion actions are paying off, I see many people here following them. Sadly the contest is not available in other countries.

Regards

You actually just didnt read correctly. You have to CALL that number and full in the last four digits after that last *, and then put a # after that. It explains it all on the pamphlet you find in the store (well I did), so you dont HAVE to go to that website.
