Bad Parking Pictures

That's a great way to park, then you take up two spots and nobody opens their doors on you! :D

Not the case, sure, most people are idiots but they usually try not to hit other people's cars with their doors. Parking like that only warrants some 'anti-a$$ paint modification' from people.

What was the name of that movie where the guy left a message on the car parked next to him? The guy parked extremely close to his car & he battled to get into his car:

Dude, next time you park like that, at least leave a freaking tin opener behind so I can use it to get into my car!!

LOL

Also, on a different note, there is a card you can give beggers and whatnot.....

NOW F**K OFF AND GO ANNOY SOMEONE ELSE"

BMW X5 parking fail.

At least I managed to stay inside my lines. If I was there with the old Astra this BMW would have a nice set of small white dents in its doors.

EDIT : Another shot of bad beemer :

Did you not know? It is not a pre-requisite to be able to park if you drive a BM :p

I assume is also not a pre-requisite for Northern Cape farmers?

hmm it appears not :)
Damn you know, it only takes a few seconds to slot in nicely between those lines. It is tragic that people have so little regard for others...or maybe it just says something about the person's general attitude towards life.

They should have electronic billboards at shopping malls displaying pics such as yours, maybe that will make people think.

Cool idea that! I had a fallout with some rich lady and her 12-yr old kids after she parked her Jeep like that and one of the girls kindly knocked her door against my car. When I told the girl to be more careful the mom simply screamed at me that I'm not accepting the fact that people sometimes make mistakes and then she drove off. I was more furious at the "we-don't-take-any-responsibility" attitude than the mark on the car

The problem often is that someone before them parked badly and the only way they could get in was by parking badly themselves. In the last pic you will see I am very close to the line on the right.

Initially I started taking pictures like these for insurance. If I came back to my car and there was a dent with the same paint as the bad parker that I saw in the adjacent bay then I knew who to claim from.

But now its more of a show and shame thing for me :p

Granted, sometimes you have to bend your car to get in, but as in your pic, I think it is quite clear that you had to follow the lead of that bakkie, although if the bakkie disappears, someone else might snap a pic of your Astra for this thread :) We have all had to do it I'm sure.

Good idea about the insurance thing. I am thinking of getting a couple of web cams hooked onto a laptop, mount them in the front and rear windscreens for my rush hour commute to work and back. Not sure if it will work, or what I'll do with the footage, but very keen to give it a go. Now I only need the laptop and 1 web cam :)

I've been doing the same thing! Never thought to put the pics up for all to enjoy though :D

Putting it on the web does two things - shames the noob that can't park and in my case, shows people my unique taste in alternative automobiles. Seriously, I have not seen another oriental blue Corsa since June.

What would be really bad is if we start having repeat offenders in this thread - imagine being framed and shamed more than once! That really shows bad parking skills.

Seriously, I'm not surprised! It friggen horrible! There are only a finite number of total idiots out there who would actually buy one.

:D nice1. Although individuality is what differentiates you from the crowd - its what gives you class. As the saying goes, you may be able to afford the school fees, but you can't buy class. :p

Toilet_Duck, nope, that was not me - probably someone trying to shame the holy name of Opel by driving a VAG disguised as an Opel cause he knows it will break down :P

Fazda, VAGs usually have the small members - remember that Porsche is a VAG brand and small members are what Porsche is drivers are known for.

Stokster, I have had my share of VW and it has wasted far to much time of my life. These days I have more time since I switched to Opel, Mercedes, Toyota, Honda and Hyundai. Plus, except for the Toyota, you do not look like a copy cat driving the rest.

Except with Opel you end up looking like a plank when you drive it.
