That reminds me of a funny incident when our family toured up to Joburg and then Botswana and Swaziland. The year was 1989 and my uncle lived in Johannesburg. We planned to go up there, along with my aunt from Robertson, meet up and then go to Botswana and Swaziland as three families together. We had normal 5 digit CL plates on our VW Microbus and my uncle had normal xxx xxxx T plates (Transvaal) on his Alfa Sud. My aunt had a brand new VW Passat CLi with the place CCD 15.

Anyway, at border crossing their short number and the D got them waved though as diplomats.... While us plebs had to wait.

Here where I am nobody has proper licences anyway. They park wherever they want. And zero law enforcement.

Welcome to the old Ciskei. It's just got 1000 times worse than it was in the old days. There was SOME law enforcement then....now there is zero.

It's like you don't even see police or traffic officers anymore. And there are MANY earning salaries here.

They probably just sit at home and push their finger up their arse and Playstation with it.

Another problem is the cops and offenders all know each other.
